This is Where it All Starts - Dalton, Georgia Home of the Mirage Turf
The Mirage USA Turf is exclusively manufactured in a very unique and proprietary 7 step process.
- Resin Pellets are melted.
- The pellets are then extruded into fiber monofilament (this is where the UV and color concentrates are added).
- The monofilament is then put through a special heating, texturizing process that curls the fiber into a spring set fiber.
- The finished spring-set fibers are then tufted (sewn) into a primary double stable-loc backing.
- Then the tufted turf is sent to the coating mill oven for the secondary final backing.
- Once the selected backing is melted onto the turf, it is then tip sheared to give the top fibers a smooth and uniform composite.
- Once the turf is complete, it is sent to the Mirage Warehouse in Dalton, Georgia, where it is cut to size and shipped out.
Do Not Accept Imitations
Our Mirage Turf is exclusively manufactured to our proprietary specifications, such as: fiber design, fiber color, tufting density and weight, and backings. We accomplish this with a strategic alliance with our specialized manufacturing partners. This assures us that our finished turf products will be manufactured using the best components in the world. Please don't be fooled by anyone else who states they can duplicate or make our Mirage Turf. It can't be done!
